The Arts Club Opens First International Outpost in Dubai

The Arts Club Dubai

Exclusive private members club, The Arts Club, has launched its first international outpost in Dubai at ICD Brookfield Place. The historic private members’ club, established in 1863 by Charles Dickens, among others, in London, celebrates the Arts, Sciences and Literature. Set over five floors of a Foster & Partners designed building with 65,000 square feet dedicated to the club, it has been designed to provide its members with an environment in which they can come together to entertain, exchange ideas, dine and participate in a rich cultural programme of events.

Featuring three meeting rooms, three private dining rooms and five lounges, as well as three restaurants (including the much loved Brasserie from London and two new home-grown concepts), the club also provides members with a cigar lounge, seven craft cocktail bars, a library, and a rooftop terrace that is home to private cigar cabanas, a sundowner’s terrace and rooftop lounge. For the night owls there’s even Vega: a late-night lounge.

The Arts Club Dubai’s Restaurant Offering

The Arts Club Dubai offers members three restaurants, the Brasserie and two new home-grown concepts – Alveare and Rōhen.

Brasserie

In homage to the London Club, the Brasserie is the engine room of The Arts Club. With Mussie Imnetu at its helm, it emulates some of Europe’s grandest dining rooms, welcoming members throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The menu is modern European, faithful to the Brasserie concept, filled with classic and beloved dishes – brought to life in part via the gueridon.

Alveare

An intimate, elegant and refined concept, defined by the exceptional produce and culinary simplicity of Italy, delivered to the table with passion and classic Italian style service. Executive Head Chef Maurizio Bosetti explores some of Italy’s long-lost regional dishes, taking members and their guests on a journey, inspired by the golden era of the 60s and 70s. The charm and spirit of Italy is accentuated in every aspect, with an emphasis on attentive and charismatic table-side service.

Rōhen

Led by Head Chef Michael Hoepfl, Rōhen is a one-of-a-kind, homegrown concept, utilizing intricate and exhilarating cooking techniques and distinct flavours. The Nikkei concept is bold, lively and loud and is the beating heart of the Club. A dining destination everyone will want to be seen, hang out, or pass by.

The Arts Club Dubai Rooftop

Rooftop Terrace

The Club’s 23,000 sq ft rooftop has uninterrupted views of the iconic Burj Khalifa, with an outdoor terrace running the length of the building perfect for sundowners. It is home to an exquisite outdoor bar serving some of the Club’s signature cocktails, small plates, live DJ sets and with intimate tables and luxurious cabanas.

Inspired by the eclectic design of the rest of the Club and created in collaboration with Dimorestudio, the rooftop design is very much an extension of the Club’s existing aesthetic, with a vivid colour palette, plush seating and a myriad of lush greenery amidst the outdoor space, providing a stunning new experience for Members and their guests, perfect for the cooler winter months.

Vega: The Arts Club’s Late Night Music Lounge

Taking up residence on the fifth floor is Vega, the Club’s late night music lounge. Vega is a scintillating space, combining visual and cultural cues from the 1970s in the form of plush fabrics, wooden flooring, polished brass and geometric patterns. The space has been engineered to provide a highly sonic experience to both audience and artist; and as with the rest of the Club, will set the stage to nurture and showcase local, regional and musical talent.

Vega is well equipped with full soundproofing, floor-to-wall acoustic treatment and digital stereo sound, which transmit a completely lossless audio experience from source to speaker, ensuring that the integrity of the music remains completely uncompromised. Playing modern dance music with a focus on afro tech, melodic house and new disco, Vega showcases a customised sound system, dazzling lighting rig, purpose-built DJ suite, VIP area and dedicated cocktail bar.

Private Events

There are plenty of spaces within the Club for members to host their own events and parties, from private and semi-private dining rooms of varying sizes, to terraces and rooftops, with each event carefully handled by the experienced events team.

Seasonal moments will be celebrated throughout the year with all-encompassing Club parties and festivities, as well as family-style brunching for the whole family at weekends. The Club also has its own in-house pâtisserie, so as well as furnishing the many dessert menus throughout the Club, members are able to order sweet treats for special occasions to enjoy at home.
