In celebration of the British summer, Beck at Brown’s is honouring the best of the season’s produce with an exclusive event hosted by the inimitable Chef Heinz Beck. For one night only on Tuesday 17th July Heinz Beck will be showcasing a bespoke tasting menu at the intimate event: ‘A Taste of Summer’.
Using only the freshest produce, Heinz Beck and his team have worked with the seasons, marrying elevated Italian cuisine with the highest quality British ingredients. Priced at £60, Guests can enjoy the carefully crafted 5 course menu which pays homage to Britain’s finest seasonal ingredients, with optional wine pairings from the in-house sommelier.
Tartar of Amberjack with white peach & avocado showcases one of July’s most plentiful ingredients, whilst the Marinated crustaceans with sweet pepper & tropea onion jam uses sweet peppers from local producers. Moving through the menu, Heinz Beck’s freshly made pasta will take centre stage, with his Tortellini ‘Pappa Al Pomodoro’ & seafood, alongside Lake District lamb loin, zucchini flower & verbena. To finish guests can enjoy the sweet summer desert Ricotta cream with marzipan, soft pistachio & sorbet of candied orange.
